Church Description: Mancelona Baptist Church (MBC) is an Independent Baptist Church that was started in June of 1968. Their Pastor of 20 years is retiring this fall. They have SS, AM and PM services on Sunday and meet midweek on Wednesdays at 7PM. The church is debt-free and has five acres which consists of the church, Fellowship Hall, a huge church garage (with two Vans), and a well maintained 3-bedroom parsonage. They use only the KJV and enjoy singing from their traditional music hymnal. The church is not Reformed or Calvinistic in their doctrine. They are missions-minded and currently support 20 missionaries.
Position Requirements: The church desires a Pastor that is faithful and steadfast to God's call, with a heart to reach people for the Lord, disciple new believers, and edify the body of Christ. A four-year Bible College degree is preferred but not required.
Position Description: The Constitution and By-Laws describe the primary responsibility of the Pastor (who shepherds the congregation), MBC officers, as well as guidance for MBC membership.
Location: Mancelona is a small village with a population around 1,000 in village limits with several other communities in the surrounding area.

LEESBURG, FLORIDA
New Life Baptist Church is a mission-minded, Independent Baptist Church located in Leesburg, Florida, one hour from Orlando. The church uses the KJV by conviction and sings hymns and very limited southern gospel style music. NLBC runs about 70 in attendance through the summer, and 100+ with snowbirds in the winter. This position is primarily with teens but also includes working with and overseeing the children’s ministry. The Pastor will mentor in any areas needed. The Pastor has a strong passion for training children and teens to serve the Lord right now, preparing them for life or ministry. There are many adult helpers in the church that can assist with various activities and a couple who just started working with the teens that can remain to help the youth pastor. The church is working on building staff housing on the church premises. The church prefers this to be a full-time position, but bi-vocational can be discussed.
